The Curonian Spit is a 98 km long, thin, curved and extremely beautiful sand-dune area that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage that Lithuania has always been proud of. On the most Northern end of the range of dunes, right where Klaipėda Seaport gate opens up, there is the Lithuanian Sea Museum.

The Lithuanian Sea Museum is one of the most popular museums in the country each year attracting around 700 thousands visitors from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Germany and other foreign countries. It has got not only the main Sea Exposition and dolphinarium, but also other exhibits such as the Etnographic Farmstead of Fisherman which concept has been designed and implemented by DADADA Studio.
